5. Panic and Grounding Features

Sooth includes tools intended to help users during stressful or overwhelming moments.

When you use features such as panic support or grounding exercises, we may process information necessary to:

  • display the exercise;

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to provide another person’s contact information to Sooth.

Emergency contact information is used only for features that allow you to quickly access, call, or message the contact.

Adding an emergency contact does not mean that Sooth will automatically contact that person during an emergency.

7. Location Information

Certain Sooth features may request access to your approximate or precise location.

Location may be used to:

  • determine your country or region;
  • show relevant emergency numbers or crisis resources;
  • provide location-appropriate safety information.

We request location access only when required for a location-based feature and subject to your device permissions.

You may refuse or disable location access through your device settings.

Where Sooth uses location only to determine relevant emergency resources, we aim not to retain precise location information longer than necessary for that purpose.

8. Journal Information

If Sooth provides journaling features, you may choose to enter personal thoughts, reflections, or other information.

Journal entries may contain highly personal information.

We encourage you to avoid including information about other individuals unless necessary.

We use journal information only to provide the journaling experience and related features unless we clearly tell you otherwise.
